We found a lost bulldog in the neighborhood. He is chipped, the vet tried up until 6:00 p.m. to call the owner with no luck, so at least we know the dog's name to help us identify the owner if found overnight. If we can't find the owner by noon we will take him up to Macc so that their list of resources can help them. get home.

Cheatham County Animal Control, in partnership with CASA Clinic, Cheatham County PAWS, and local volunteers will be hosting a low cost spay and neuter day for resident Cheatham County dogs on July 29, 2024.

The cost will be $40 per dog, limit two per household (Cheatham County residents only). Please check the program requirements below to see if you qualify, and watch for the registration link to be posted next Monday, July 15. For questions, please call or text 321-480-6716.

We are thrilled to be able to offer this needed service to the public.

Bookmark this link. There are clickable links to 25 local lost/found groups as well as rescues and emergency vets. Unfortunately this holiday weekend a lot of pets are going to get lost and hurt. This link is a quick way to get all the information at one time to get them posted or to get them immediate help. Post in multiple groups because animals will be running scared and can cover many miles, also someone could find your pet in one area but post it in the area where they live. I hope everyone's furbabies stay safe. 🐶😺

Sharing is caring. With the 4th of July right around the corner we tend to get several calls about dogs getting out, and owners frantically trying to find them. We ask that you make sure your dogs have their collars on, updated contact information on their licenses, or do something similar to the picture below !
We can not scan for microchips. We do not have a scanner, and if the vets offices are closed, we will have to transport any found dogs that are unclaimed to MACC Metro Animal Care and Control on Harding Place here in Nashville or local shelter in your area.
We love our community fur babies and want to make sure they are safe! 🐾💕

They beg to go out and go play but really I think they just want a bask in the sun. I don't know why they even want to go out there It's so hot but they don't seem to mind. We're doing 10-15 minute playtimes during this heatwave. They go lay in the sun for 15 minutes instead of playing and then come back in the house and get wild. Lol.
