Ever had to call the police on a client? šŸšØ Veterinary professionals often see people who are not at their best- a sick pet coupled with unexpected bills can lead people to act out of character, and I mean it when I say, I am very sympathetic to that. HOWEVER, some words and actions are indefensible. This week, threats were made to the University of Tennesseeā€™s veterinary hospital over a manā€™s pet spider monkey. There are so many things wrong with that sentence, itā€™s hard to know where to start.

Mud devil, snot otter, lasagna lizardā€¦All refer to the hellbender salamander. Despite being ā€œgiant salamandersā€ these guys are dwarfed by Japanese and Chinese giant salamanders, some of which are essentially human sized šŸ˜³
