The clinic also provides pet daycare and a state-of-the-art boarding facility. the practice and were well-known for their availability to care for their animal patients in any emergency. In 1985, their son, Dr. David Randall, graduated from the University of Florida and worked alongside his father at Big Cypress Animal Clinic. Two years later, the senior Dr. Randall retired and his son took over the family practice. Dr. David Randall spent the first 15 years of his career caring for animals of all breeds and sizes, including but not limited to dogs, cats and horses. Then 10 years ago, he dedicated his practice to small animal breeds only. Dr. Carrie Portu, our associate veterinarian, graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She began her career at the Calder Casino and Race Course in Miami Gardens, FL working with the equestrian team. In 2002 Dr. Portu worked at the USDA Quarantine Center for 5 years before moving to Southwest FL to begin working with small animals. Big Cypress Animal Clinic extends a warm welcome to all patrons, new and familiar - we care for your best friends as if they were our own!

Good morning everyone. This beautiful lady Sabrina is looking for her perfect furever home! Estimated to be 13 years old. She cannot live with other cats, but loves people, children of all ages, small dogs, and even birds. She likes to sit on the sofa, watch tv with you, play a little, and loves to be in the same room with her family. She does best with 5 minutes of daily brushing to take care of her beautiful coat, but she loves to be petted and groomed, and will tell you all about her day – she loves to chat! Good Morning

Meet Harmony and her puppies. They will all be up for adoption Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Below is a little information about Momma and the 3 puppies still available:

Harmony- about 1 1/2 years old chihuahua mix about 9 lbs. She is nervous, but once you get to know her she is super loving and loyal. she will be free to an approved home.

Cowboy- he was the runt of the litter but has quickly grown into his skin. He is sweet and playful and always on the go.

Bingo Jr, "BJ'- He is all about kisses and playtime, but loves to sit and cuddle too.

Melody- She is the sweetest little girl. calm and collected she loves to just sit with you and observe her littermates. She is so sweet that when she does play with her litter mates, she tends to get bullied.

All the puppies will be under 20 lbs at adult age. They are Chihuahua and Jack Russel mix. A small rehoming fee will apply to the puppies.
