it seems like forever ago that I posted here! I am still here and will be painting again in a week or two. Waiting on pencils lol, as I have worn mine all down to about 2 inches! Life has been crazy and busy with Covid, fencing, Icelandic sheep, veg garden etc and not working away from home. My first portrait for this new life will be a beautiful cat commissioned months ago! I will post as I go along, so stay tuned 😊

I know I have not been here much lately. Because of the Covid I have been very busy regrouping and redefining my life. I am moving on making my house and my property more of the Homestead. I have invested in birds and sheep. Both are very self-sufficient and hearty. I have always had a bit of the Homestead mentality, but now I am taking it 100% to heart. Let’s see what I can really do

It’s funny, but I always doubt myself when I first started painting. But every time I reached a point where it all clicks and I see where I need to go. And then the person the commission me tells me they see their beloved pet edit all seems perfect.

I am now working on Christmas orders,so will not be able to share until after the holidays, but I am very excited about each of them 😊!!

I do believe he is done. Many factors made this a very complicated and difficult portrait.
