Teaching Murphy, the classical Association of the doorbell, linked to a place command. When he offers the behavior and shows an understanding of the association, we reinforce.

With 4th of July ahead of us there are a few helpful things we can do to help our pets stay relaxed and safe. We will need a few tools and to help our dogs handle the stress.

📿step 1 - 30ft training leash in case of a dramatic reaction to sounds
which can send dogs into a flight response to run. This tool can be found Dog Patch Pet and Feed. It's a good idea to keep a hold of the end of the leash if you think your dog is fearful or sensitive to sounds.

💨step 2 - you will need 1 or 2 noisy box fans on high to dampen the sounds effecting your dog. Our goal is to dilute and dampen the loud sounds from fire works✨.

🔊📢step 3 - flooding noise such as music at an above average level will help the random percussions to not be so dramatic to your dog. Typically our dogs are in a quite room and then they hear a loud noise which makes it more dramatic than it needs to be.

😴💤Step 4- make sure to physically exhaust back to back leading into these days this will make them put less energy into to stressing and being anxious and more likely to go to sleep or actually be semi tolerant. So this needs to be rigorous exercise not just standard walking. Stuff like sprinting, running ,chasing and swimming all leading into the Fourth of July. This mental exhaustion mixed with Physical will make for all-around better response to fireworks.💥

Genetics dictate behavior it’s not all in how you raise them. Look how young these dogs are displaying this behavior this is all instinct.
