Come say hi, learn something new, and leave with goodies for your pup! 👏🐕
Do you have a dog that just can’t seem to “turn off”? You’re not alone and we’re here to help!
Join us at the Naperville Area Humane Society for a special training workshop with the experts at Pet Harmony, where you’ll learn practical strategies to help your dog build their “off-switch.”
Many dogs struggle to settle, especially those with lots of energy or big feelings. This session will explore why that happens and how you can support your dog in a realistic, effective way.
Just like a toddler can’t nap after a sugar rush, dogs need their physical, mental, and emotional needs met before they can truly relax. During this one-hour workshop, you’ll learn simple, practical enrichment strategies to help your dog decompress and settle more easily.
We’ll also cover how relaxation is a skill that can be taught, with live demonstrations using shelter dogs. You’ll leave with tools you can start using right away at home, plus a deeper understanding of how to support your dog’s well-being. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
We’re also excited to share that Wheatland Animal Hospital of Naperville will be on-site to answer questions about pet wellness and provide goodie bags for attendees!
