It’s shocking how cruel people can be to animals.
This 2-year-old Blue Heeler was found bound in the bed of a pickup truck, with clothing wrapped tightly around his head and electrical wires around his neck and paws. He was later abandoned on a scorching Texas street.
Two Good Samaritans stepped in to help. Terrified, he initially ran away, but thankfully he was later found and is now safe at Laredo Animal Services.
This pup survived. But how many others don’t?
Animal cruelty laws need to change. There need to be real consequences for people who intentionally hurt, torture, neglect, and abandon animals.
And please—if you see something, say something.
Animals cannot call for help. They cannot report their abusers. They need us to speak for them.
