Ferrets are very susceptible to viral flu. If you are sick, keep distance from your ferret. They also show signs of sickness before humans, so keep a close eye on them.

Our shelter is permanently closed after 17 years of service. If you have a ferret that is in need of a home, the Idaho Humane Society will accept them. They also adopt them out.
