Wanted Ranch Manager - please read the entire description to ensure you feel that you
can meet all the job description requirements before applying.
Blue Sky Boarding is looking to hire a new Ranch Manager within the next 2-4 weeks.
All equipment, tools and necessities to perform these job duties will be provided.
Operating ranch equipment such as a four-wheeler, w**d sprayer, tractor and
grooming tools are necessary for this position, if you do not have experience with
these types of equipment and tools, please do not apply.
There are a total of 15 stalls at this facility varying in size, however the number of
boarded horses can change monthly.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Livestock
- Feeding the horses twice daily (am and pm)
- Water troughs must be checked and filled twice daily
- Water troughs are to be drained and cleaned once a week.
- Each stall mucked twice daily (am and pm)
- If an animal appears ill or injured notify ranch owner immediately.
- This includes but not limited to daily grooming of the arena (this takes
approximately 15-30 minutes)
- Spraying and w**d removal as needed.
- Pick up trash or other debris that may be brought in by the wind
- Testing the electric fence surrounding the property every other to ensure that
the fence is properly working daily. (Electricity tester will be provided).
- Ensure that all gates are always closed to ensure the safety and security of the
boarded horses.
- Inspect facilities and equipment for signs of issue as needed

Takes less than 4 hours per day

Salary/Pay:
This is not a paid position, this position is in exchange for housing, which includes:
- Residing in Tiny House Dwelling
- Power, water/sewer/trash
- Boarding (up to two horses)
- See terms of Contractor Wage Agreement, all of which shall be followed
- See terms of Rental Agreement
