From stressing over both mom’s pregnancies in January to delivering (myself) 17 healthy puppies in February and now watching them all grow and go to their new homes in March/April… it has been an honor. Each one of these pups take a piece of me when they go off to their next chapters. They will always have a huge place in my heart…. Each and every one of them🥺

Meet Percy.... We are in awe of her and to know her story.... will make your heart swell. Please read and know that stories like this one... hit and they hit HARD:
Hi. On October 27, 2024 we began our journey to a Pug Puppy. After our little girl at 13 I believe just gently fell asleep on the sofa between us and never woke up. We held her and cried over her for hours into the early morning, passed out due to exhaustion. This was 8 mths prior to contacting you. My husband and I couldn’t stand it and finally said YES we must have another Pug to love. We were on your list. We knew it would take awhile but didn’t care.
Less than 10 days later bad news. Then confirmed afterwards Breast Cancer -early stage. December-Surgery-February-Chemotherapy-March- John has a stroke (during chemo) 58 yrs old.
I’m a widow.
Still going through chemotherapy.
Then side effects some don’t stop.
I finish in July 2025. We have holidays coming, one foot in front of the other. The whole family numb.
The same question is asked: Are you still getting a Pug? Whole family wants to know. Grand babies, kids and friends.
Absolutely. They smile.
They ask…Pug Babies Yet?
Not yet!
I’m better. I got the “all clear” I was stage 1 and caught very early.
The one thing you don’t know but should is that Your Updates and pictures etc kept me going many times I’d say I’ll have a pug puppy soon. The one John and I agreed we needed. I needed.
So just know this baby has been wanted for a very long time. Gave hope before even being born and will be so very loved.
There’s always a reason for those in the peripheral of your life and so…God.
Percy is named for Perseverance because that’s been the word of 2025. Mendi Perry
