Happy Halloween from all of us at Southside Animal Clinic. Keep your pets safe while enjoying the spooky fun: avoid giving them candy, especially chocolate or anything with xylitol, and keep decorations out of reach. Treat them to sate toys and extra cuddles instead!

Hello Friends and clients, just a PSA- we have had some experiences with some of our pets and patients with the only thing in common is that they have been feeding Purina Dog chow in the green bag. So far 5 dogs in total have been affected in some way- 2 resulted in death and 3 were very ill experiencing vomiting and diarrhea with some bloody, mucousy, jelly like stool. There are No active recalls on this food at this time and it may not be a contributing factor or have anything to do with what we have been experiencing, but we feel like there have been to many coincedences with this particular food being the only link to these pets to not make some sort of statement warning you about our current events. If you currently feed this food and are experiencing any of these issues please STOP feeding this food immediately and contact a veterinarian.

Due to unforeseen repairs taking part at Southside Animal Clinic. We will be closed the following days 9/18, 9/19. 9/25, and 9/26. We plan to be back to normal operation starting 9/29.

PSA: if you are trying to reach our clinic via telephone, clinic portal or email we are currently unavailable due to internet outage. All of our communication services are ran off of internet connection. We have a technician coming at 12 today hopefully we will be up and running after that.
