Here is a good little summary if you notice your dog's p**p is dry and crumbly. With summer around the corner, dehydration can occur very easily.

When scooping your dog's p**p, you might notice that some of it is dry and crumbly. While dry and crumbly p**p in dogs isn't normal, it's usually an easy fix! We've taken a look at some of the possible causes of dry p**p in dogs and what you can do about it to help your dog

GRAPHIC PICTURE: But, a little lesson for everyone. If you see this dry, crumbly p**p come out of your dog...it can mean simply they are dehydrated, constipated or a more serious condition in the colon.

So, What To Do?? Call your vet. Let them know this happened. They will need to know if any other symptoms, like fatigue, decreased appetite, nausea, fever, and if gums are pale. This will help determine if an urgent visit is needed versus simply hydrating, increasing fiber, and decreasing protein in their food and maybe needing a stool softener.

Monitor the dog's intake and output over the next few days. If symptoms improve, fantastic. If symptoms get worse, take to vet.
