🐢🐢Just a quick reminder that as of yesterday, our beachfront lighting rules are in effect for the season. From May 1 to October 31, Georgetown County requires all artificial lights on the beach, including those on oceanfront structures, to be shielded, extinguished, or redirected after 10 p.m. to protect nesting sea turtles. Violations, can lead to fines of up to $100 per day.

Nature has its own little heroes. 🐝
Some quietly make sweet honey, some fluffy friends spend their days loving flowers, and some protect the garden by keeping pests away.

Different looks, different roles—but each one is important for the balance of nature. Next time you see one of them, remember they are not just insects… they are tiny workers keeping our world alive. 🌼🌿
