🚨🚨 LOST Grand Strand Humane Society DOG 🚨🚨

Griffin AKA Goblin ran away from his foster home located at 301 Sandy Pebble Way in Carolina Forest at approx 10 PM tonight (11/19/25).

🛑 DO NOT CHASE!!

🛑CHECK DOORBELL CAMERAS!!
🛑 REPORT SIGHTINGS!!

He is incredibly nervous around new people and will likely run if you approach him. He will NOT hurt you.

💔➡️❤️ From Scary Escape to Safe at Her Foster Home: Zuri’s Story

Last Sunday, Zuri slipped out of her backyard & vanished into a world full of dangers. Busy roads. Cars flying by. Nowhere truly safe for a little dog on her own. Her foster mom immediately reached out to us, & we gave our top piece of advice: flyers, everywhere! She worked hard, hung them up, & soon the calls about sightings started coming in.

But Zuri was frightened & smart. A box trap was set, but the food kept disappearing while the trap never went off. Each day she remained out there, the risk grew higher. Would this story end in heartbreak instead of hope?

Today, Rescue Tails was contacted again. We brought out our Missy trap & camera, set it up & left the site at 6:51pm. By 7:53pm, Zuri was safely trapped! In less than an hour, she was finally out of danger & back in the arms of her foster family. The hole she slipped out through has already been filled.

✨ This is what persistence, knowledge & the right tools can do.

🚨 5 Dogs in Danger Without Foster Homes & Rescue Group Support 🆘

By 8am this morning, we had reports of 5 dogs that need to be trapped for safety. We CANNOT trap dogs without foster homes / rescues lined up!

Here’s the situation:
• 1 solo dog in one area
• 4 puppies (about 6 months old) on the side of the road in another area

None of them are safe! And we do not have the space, resources, or funding to handle this alone. This is a community problem, and it requires community support!

✅ If you can foster, please reach out.
✅ If you are part of a rescue group that can help, contact us.
✅ If you can assist in other ways (resources, donations, networking), every bit helps.

⚠️ Please do not chase after dogs you see. This makes the situation more dangerous for them. We have seen how detrimental chasing can be for a dog’s life!
