Happy 18th birthday to my favorite horse Messi! I couldn't do any of the things I do with horses if I didn't have you to show me the way. Thank you for giving me confidence, teaching me patience and showing me how to have fun. You are more than I could have ever wished for. I love you! 🎂🎈🎉

Took a trailer full of horses up to Michaux today! Our first outing was with 7 year old Arabian gelding Dancer and Messi. This was Dancer's first ride since we got him in October (well, second if being immediately bucked off counts as a ride). We don't think he's been ridden much if at all, but our outing today was uneventful. Seasoned veteran Messi led the way and suprisingly set a good example for him!

Our second outing was with Louie and Randy. We were off to a great start, but after a few miles we began seeing snow flurries. Out of an abundance of caution we decided to abandon our ride and head back to the trailer. Randy made the ride back fun by racking almost 10 mph down the road! And he was smoooooth!! 🐴❤️
