Feels like Spring has sprung and Summer is knocking on the door. Just wanted to remind everyone we are a full-service feed store, family owned and run. We have been in the myakka area for 30 years. We sell Seminole Feed, Buckeye Feed, Triple Crown, and Blue Seal. We carry a wide variety of hays,
2 tie Eastern t/a,
2 tie western t/a,
2 & 3 tie Western Timothy,
2 & 3 tie western alfalfa,
2 tie western straight orchard
2tie western orch/alfalfa
coastal and straw.
We have 3 sizes of stall bedding: Sun Coast Shavings
Large flake
Blended, (large & small)
Fine flake
along with pine pellets.
Our main focus is on equine nutrition; however, we have feed for many farm animals. We do deliver and have a wide territory. We also have 2 locations, one in Myakka City, and our other near McIntosh and Clark Rd (SR 72) to be convenient for our Sarasota 4-legged animal needs, (winged pets too). We also carry many supplies that are much needed around the barn. If we don't have it, we certainly will try to get it. We'd love to see you or hear from you.

Good morning everybody it is Friday, October 11. I don’t know about having funny stories but I am grateful and humble at this moment. I hope everyone is safe and sound. I must keep reminding myself trees and objects can be replaced friends and family cannot. As of right now, everyone I know are alive and that is huge. Both stores are open the south store has limited products & regular hours. the one issue hindering us is fuel. So deliveries are a few and very limited. Our doors are open and we’re running on generators so we have power and Internet. We’d love to see you.

I want to inform everyone our two stores will be closed Wednesday tomorrow, October 9 and part of Thursday, October 10. When the storm passes through I will open up the Myakka store if we can get through the roads, even if it is 6 o’clock at night. Everyone and anyone is welcome to come up if anything just for support. I am expecting deliveries into our store Friday, grain and hay. Also Shavings. Be safe, all my friends I hope in three days, we will have funny stories, not heartache. I’m praying for all of us. Much love

Our Verna Bethany store is open till 6 o’clock today. It is Monday August 5
If you are east if Verna Bethany, you have to go past Verna Bethany (west) to 675 to 61st then left into Verna Bethany

The upper respiratory disease commonly referred to as strangles is caused by Streptococcus equi subsp equi. Strangles is spread from horse to horse through direct contact. Horses can also contract the disease by coming into contact with contaminated surfaces. The disease is highly infectious.

Wishing everyone peace and happiness. We would like to thank everyone for their support, for if it wasn’t for you, we wouldn’t be here.
We carry a full line of SEMINOLE FEED, BUCKEYE FEED, TRIPLE CROWN, and some other brands as well. We have a very wide variety of hays. We are predominantly equine based. We still offer barn calls and formulate personal feed programs for 1 horse to many horses. We carry many shelf items and if we don’t have something, we can surely try to get it! We deliver and welcome people to visit our stores. We also have a location off of Clark Rd in Sarasota. Please feel free to call or text. 941-962-2247 with any questions, comments etc…
