As we continue to pray and support the recovery efforts at home in Western NC, I ask you to open your hearts and prayers for my TerraNova family in Florida, friends in Myakka City, all of the precious animals, and my babies- Pumpkin & Daisy.

I am honored to be a part of the team at TerraNova Equestrian Center and I am so proud of the effort they have made to safely prepare our facility to support our each other, the community, and our horses.

We are praying for your safety and all of those who will be affected by this storm. 🙏 ❤️ 🐴 🌈

Good news- After spending yesterday in ice boots and getting plenty of attention at Tryon Equine Hospital, Daisy is continuing to improve.
We hope that 24 more hours of antibiotics will have her ready to go home tomorrow afternoon.

Daisy is having a better day. We are hopeful the antibiotics are doing their job and we will continue to see improvement...

Daisy is having a better day. We are hopeful the antibiotics are doing their job and we will continue to see improvements. She is very happy to eat and loves having her hair braided.

For all of you concerned about Pumpkin (since this is the first time they have been separated since being weaned)- no need to worry.
Following this video, she decided to race, freely around property, treating the bridle path like the final stretch at Churchill Downs!
Pumpkin was safely escorted back to her stall for the evening. Only harm came to my rope burned hand, the 48” gate to Ring 3, and my pride.
