It can be hard for people to see 🫣😩⤵️

Many people don’t understand that A properly fitting carefully conditioned Muzzle can bring so many positives!

Some Reasons a dog might wear a muzzle:

- They might bite other animals
- they might bite people ( especially during vet care, grooming or handling)
- They eat things that can harm them.
- They redirect on their handler or friend dogs when they become reactive.

🐶 Unfortunately, Gwen is NOT dog friendly
& will use her teeth.

She wears a muzzle intermittently
one on walks for two reasons:

1. Sometimes other dogs are loose either on purpose or by accident and if another dog were to rush her ( even if they’re friendly) The situation is Highly likely to become dangerous for all of us!

2. If she was to get away from me for some reason ( winter walks can get slippery) I cannot say 100% she wouldn’t rush another dog even if they were minding their own business.

Both situations are Real possiblities and could end In injured or even dead dogs. And injuries to people who try to stop a fight.

I’m sure the odds are low BUT I know too much to take the risk! So I choose to proactively protect my dog, myself and my community!

Not to mention her world get to be a lot bigger with a muzzle because the inherent risk has drastically reduced the frequency & quality
of our walks.

It’s a Win Win! The muzzle gives me more confidence & peace of mind and allows her more freedom!

Muzzled Dogs are LOVED dogs!

If you see a dog in a well fitting muzzle:
You should know their Guardian IS prioritizing the safety of their dog, the community & themselves!

Properly conditioning, fitting & maintaining tolerance & comfort in a muzzle takes dedication & empathy

💓muzzle training dogs is a true act of love & social consciousness.

* Note this is her practice Muzzle, it does NOT allow her to fully pant to cool herself ( so she wears it for short periods until her new custom fit muzzle arrives)
