Hey Everyone! We're looking for a furever home for this sweet boy, Fred! He is 12.5 years old, indoor only, neutered male, and front-declawed. His previous owner recently went into hospice. His bloodwork and physical show a clean bill of health! He would prefer to be the only one in the household, getting all of the love and attention, and living out his golden years. Today is National Fresh Breath Day! Here are a few tips for better oral health for your furry friends:

1. Brush their teeth 😁
Using pet specific toothpaste and special designed toothbrushes to help make it easier and get all the hard-to-reach spots. (please do not use regular tooth paste as they contain harmful and toxic chemicals to cats and dogs like Xylitol)

2. Dental chews/treats
While not a replacement for dental cleanings, They can help keep plaque build up to a minimum between dental cleanings or if brushing your pets teeth is not an option.

3. Dental Cleanings!
Your Veterinarians here at LAH will check your pet from nose to tail and advise on the need for a dental cleaning. Call with any questions or to schedule an appointment today!
