Shout out to Cook and Grant! They came to the rescue this morning so we were able to get to farm. No major damage!

Had a young fellow come to farm yesterday. Put him to work shoveling a ton of compost.The first one had bubba and I wore out. Got more lettuce planted. Spinach next on list. Thanks Andrew!

Starting to gather vegetables for international city farmer's market this Thursday.

Just a few pics from farm. Onions jumping now! Lettuce is slowly coming up. Spinach is doing great. Kale as always pretty. Cabbages in different stages of growing. More cabbage and broccoli plants ready to go in ground. We will be getting outside fields ready to plant our tomatoes, squash, butternut squash, spaghetti squash, sweet peppers, bell peppers, zucchini, cucumbers and more. It's amazing but I have been picking a few strawberries for the past month!

We are busy adding more growing space inside hoop house. This should about triple our lettuce, spinach and strawberry production. This is the first of two tons of compost and expect it will take at least two more.

Breedlove Farm will not be at the International City Farmer's Market tomorrow (Thursday Jan 5). We are taking this time off to complete a few projects that we have going on at the farm.
