Dogs have big feelings, just like us! When they bark a lot or get grumpy, they might just be feeling scared, tired, or stressed out. Here is why your furry best friend might be having a hard time:

🐾Things Making Your Dog Reactive 🐾
*Tight leash tension: Pulling too hard on their leash makes them feel stuck and scared.
*Forced interactions: Making them say "hi" to people or dogs when they are feeling shy.
*Too much dog park time: Playing with too many dogs for too long makes them super cranky!
*Lack of structure: Not having a normal routine, kind of like when you don't know your bedtime.
*Overstimulation daily: Too much noise and busy stuff every single day. They need quiet nap times!

Do you want your dog to be super good when friends come over? You can be a great dog trainer! Just follow these 5 easy steps to teach your furry friend some manners:

*Wait: Make sure your dog sits nice and still before you touch the doorknob.

*Treat: Give them a yummy snack if they stay sitting down.

*No Jumping: Keep all four paws on the floor!

*Ignore: Tell your friends not to pet or look at the dog if they are acting too silly or excited.

*Say Hi: Only let your dog go play when they take a deep breath and feel super calm.

Does your furry best friend ever seem too full of energy? 🐶

Just like when you play too hard and need a break, dogs can get overwhelmed too! When their brain gets too busy, they might act a little crazy and forget their manners.

Swipe to see the signs that your dog needs structure and clarity to thrive in day to day life:

👉They act super wild and show signs of being too excited.
👉They run super fast in circles out of nowhere (we call these zoomies!).
👉They keep jumping up and down and just won't stop.
👉They stop listening to your words (pretending they can't hear you)
👉They try to bite you or put your clothes and toys in their mouth.
👉They start whining, crying, or barking loudly.

If your dog does these things, they aren't being bad! It just means their brain is overstimulated and they need help learning how to calm down!
