Update on Valor- we were able to get in to see the ophthalmologist at Animal Eye Vet we have locally, Dr. Ashton. She told us that his sight is good and that the only issue is his lower lid is slightly longer than the upper and causes it to roll in. She suggested placing a suture in the outer corner of each eye to make the eye lid length the same when he is around 6-weeks old and when he is around 12-weeks old, doing a canthoplasty (think “eyelift”) to fix it permanently. We are so relieved by this news and grateful they fit us into the schedule today. We have opened up the additional waitlist spot for 5th pick on the “Memorial” Litter with the requirement that anyone who chooses Valor will be required to return to Dr. Ashton for the final procedure. (Procedures and follow up visits will be covered by Apricot P&G) If interested, apply here: https://forms.gle/8X5wQiewevmrNf2q8
