Fourth of July Prep for Your Pup

The Fourth can be fun for us—but stressful for our furry friends. Here are a few pro tips to help your dog stay calm, safe, and happy during the fireworks:

🔹 Get that energy out early – A long walk or extra playtime can help your pup feel relaxed later in the day.
🔹 Create a safe space – Set up a quiet, cozy room inside where your dog can retreat if they get anxious.
🔹 Keep ID tags updated – Fireworks can cause dogs to bolt. Double-check collars and microchip info.
🔹 Skip the scraps – BBQ food might smell amazing, but many holiday treats are dangerous for dogs.
🔹 Try calming aids – Thunder shirts, calming chews, or soft music can help ease anxiety.
