A note from Dr. Sheila:
Dear Valued Clients of Veterinary Medical Center,
It is the time of year to reflect and be thankful. I appreciate each and every client and patient who enter the door of VMC and trust us with their care. Additionally, the staff here at VMC continue to be some of the most kindhearted people I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
As the head of VMC, I am committed to continuous learning and evolving in our practice of medicine, as well as practice management and client communication, to bring you the most up-to-date and efficient care possible. In an effort to better serve you, this week we are transitioning to a new practice management software.
What does this mean? In the short-term, your wait times for checking in/out and calling in prescriptions may be longer than usual. Requesting online prescriptions may take a little longer to get approved than it has in the past. In the long-term-this will allow us to improve efficiency internally and offer an overall better platform for us to continue serving you with the heart and hustle that you have come to love and expect from us.
I ask for your patience with us while we make this transition over the next couple of weeks. This has been a transition months in the making, and while we feel well-prepared, we certainly expect a learning curve as we implement it into daily use.
What can you do to help? Calling ahead for your prescription refills, allowing a little more time than usual, anticipating appointment times that are slightly longer than average, and granting us some grace while we navigate this change.
