It’s been a while since y’all have heard from me, and I just wanted to give a new update on what I’ve been up to. While I was at home caring for the baby these past few years, I’ve also been working hard hard on creating a couple of children’s books. The first one released last week! “What Does the Giraffe Say?”, by Lea Ann Pullen, is available online at most major retailers, and I am going headfirst into this author/artist/educator journey.

I am not ready to forever say goodbye to grooming, so I will still keep this page. (I do love dogs so much, so you never know when I may be back!) If you want to stay more up to date on what’s going on with me, and my creative offerings/adventures, please follow my studio FB page: Lucky Pup Studios. Most of my friends and clients already know, but at this time I'm taking a year off from grooming to care for this sweet new baby of mine. I wanted to post this to my business page, because many local people are seeking a groomer right now. Spring is a VERY busy time for all groomers, so please be patient and plan ahead for your pet's appointments. Don't wait "until they need it" to make that appointment! You will likely be disappointed with your wait time, as there is only so much a groomer can safely do in a day.

Please know that I'll be back at it soon, and I'm always grateful for your trust and business. In the mean time, for Murray, please give my friend Ellen at the Westside Vet Service a call 270-753-6749. (She took my position there and is still building up a client base. So she has more immediate openings.) For Mayfield, my friends Liz and Alaina Lamm at Big Paws Little Paws can be reached at 270-804-6421. (Call 6-8 weeks ahead to make your appointments, as they are very established and booked with their regulars.) Your pets will be in kind hands at either place, and I gladly trust them with my own.

Saying good-bye to one of my favorites. Millie Prohm, the silly doodle girl, has been on my table since she was a baby puppy. She's going up north where her dad's coaching job has taken the family. So sad to say good-bye, but I know it's a very big opportunity for her family. Best of luck to you guys!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I had several unexpected cancellations/ no-shows today... I've been wanting to try this on Koby for awhile now, and there was finally time! I'm pleased with the way it turned out, as this was my first time trying out the semi-permanent pet dyes. ☺️ We ended the day with a trip to PetSense for a new toy and (Jasmine picked out) chicken feet. 😛

If you have animals outside in this cold weather make sure you give them everything they need, fresh water (not frozen), food, extra blankets/towels, and make sure they have a shelter out of the snow. Or even better - bring them inside!
