Thank you!! Received donation today of some very important items. We truly appreciate our community. Without your donations we wouldn't be successful in this.

We have wish list at a zone and Walmart now, we are waiting for chewy approval.
We are also needing towels and blankets desperately. Paper towels, wash clothes and rescue disinfectant. We've been taking in more kittens then usually and running thru these things very fast.

Whoever messaged us about adopting the white and grey kitten, I cannot find your number. Can you please reach back out. It is a female, she will be ready to adopt in a few days.

RECOMMENDATION TIME 🐾

It's been some time, but we have another recommendation for you.
This is the perfect item for those who have kittens or even a cat that might need to be quarantined or limited movement.
The playpen has a separate section for the litter box and is even big enough to add a food area. The structure is very good, withstanding kittens climbing with no damage. The top does zip off for easy access to cleaning. The separate section attaches with very strong snaps as well as Velcro. You can also use the sections separately.

This was definitely a great choice for foster kittens.
I also have another that is one room, I like this as well, but the 2 areas are a game changer and this particular one is more sturdy, the material is thicker. This also comes with a carrying case.

I bought ours thru Walmart but I am sure you can find something similar elsewhere. For the price I was amazed how wonderful the quality was.

Wish list items are still needed. Emergency care as well as supplies and enrichment items needed. Every day we receive calls and we never know what we are walking into. To be prepared from that moment for anything, and be able to care for the animals properly is very important to us.

Helping other area rescues and shelters is also very important. If you buy anything you wish to have donated to another organization please just make a note and I will deliver to them as well.

The kittens at Jackrabbit have been caught!

Thank you to Kaye and Peter , two amazing people who took the time in the cold rainy weather to go look and eventually catch the kittens.

(They are fine. Photo looks like white one has injury to the eye/nose. This isn't injury, just way little face looked after meowing and picture took, guess he's not photogenic)...
