Some friendships leave paw prints on our hearts forever. 🐾❤️
Dolly Parton has always spoken so lovingly about her beloved dog, Cracker Jack:
“Cracker Jack only lives in memories now, but he was the best friend I ever had; more than that, he was a playmate, a companion with love and understanding. That's what pets are. They have that unconditional love. You can tell them anything, and they accept it.”
We LOVE this reminder of just how important companion animals are in our lives. They are our friends, our comfort, our playmates, our confidants, and sometimes, they simply make the world feel a little less lonely!

Dolly has shared her love in so many ways: through her storytelling and songs, her friendships, her philanthropy—from books to medical research to disaster relief, the list goes on—and the kindness she has shown to people and animals alike. We appreciate the love she has given to the world and the beautiful example she has set of treating others with kindness and compassion. 🦋🐾💕

All of us at Beesley Animal Foundation believe every pet deserves a healthy life and every owner deserves compassionate support. Because the bond between people and their pets matters. ❤️🐶🐱

So, here’s to Dolly for the love she has shared, the kindness she has encouraged, and the reminder that there is always room for a little more compassion in the world. ✨ May we all try to live and love a little more like Dolly! 💕

We are so thankful to 100 Women Who Care-Rutherford County for this incredible donation! 💙🐾

We appreciate not only the financial support, but also the connections, resources, and encouragement we gain from being part of this wonderful group of women.

This donation will help us provide support to people and pets in crisis throughout our community. Your generosity truly makes a difference! We are grateful to be part of a group that believes in making a meaningful impact right here in Rutherford County.

THANK YOU! 🙏 Several weeks ago, we put out a plea for pet food for our Outreach program. Our shelves were almost empty. Donations started to come. Once, we had two Amazon deliveries in the parking lot at the same time. 😆 We really wish we had snapped a pic. But we did snap pics of our volunteers last Thursday and today, packing pet food! In the past week, volunteers packed over 400 pounds of cat and dog food!!
🐾 Our Outreach program started 10 years ago, in August of 2016, and we have distributed over 57,000 pounds of cat and dog food to help keep pets fed and with the people who love them! This program cannot exist without donors and volunteers, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your support of our programs.
If you or someone you know needs pet food, it is available Monday-Thursday during business hours. 🐾 💕

Many thanks to First Presbyterian Church of Murfreesboro for having our Executive Director, Dawn Roberts, speak at one of their Wonderful Wednesday classes last night! 💙 Dawn got to share a little about herself, Beesley Animal Foundation programs, and, of course, her love of animals! 🐾

We’re grateful for the opportunity to talk about our work, the pets and families we serve, and the importance of keeping pets healthy, happy, and with the people who love them. Thank you for welcoming us. ❤️🐶🐱 And, of course, the Oreos too! 😂 They were a great addition to our discussion and definitely helped make the evening sweeter! 🍪🐾
