Sweetest story. I got a call from James. He had mentioned to his neighbor Linda that they were wanting to get a long haired dachshund. Linda has been a friend for years and told him that we had some puppies. So within an hour James had picked up this sweet girl and was headed home to surprise his wife and their adorable daughter Vivian. (Kudos to James! That’s the way to win the girls over!) Vivian fell madly in love with her and called her after her favorite singer “Dolly.” So Vivian goes over to show Linda. Then I get a text from Linda asking, “Do you have any more puppies? I don’t want to let this girl go home.” My last girl had been on hold waiting on some medical results so I called to see what they had decided. There were not able to take her. So I decided to do my own surprise and drove over to Linda’s with the last girl. Needless to say I came home alone. So now these sisters Dolly & Lucy Mae get to grow up as neighbors and see each other on play dates. Makes my heart so Happy!!
