Hello everyone,

As we head into the dog days of Summer (pun intended), just a reminder pet paws can burn quickly on hot surfaces such as pavement, asphalt, and artificial grass, causing blisters or burns on their paw pads. Hot pavement and warm weather can also increase the overall body temperature of pets and lead to heat stroke. To check if the pavement is too hot for your pet's paws, you can do the "seven-second test" by touching the pavement with the back of your hand for seven seconds. If you can’t do it, refrain from letting your dogs on that surface….😊😊😊🐶🐶🐶
