Story time…so I tried getting a good pic of the heifer to tell her story. Despite the picture fail here’s her story. In the 2021 Marshall Cattle Co dispersal there was a heifer that really grabbed my attention. 9300 was Tahoe x Confidence Plus that truly fit my program. I wasn’t in a place where I could spend the kind of money she’d bring so I watched her sell and forgot about her. Years later I got to do some embryo work on a cow who’s name and number seemed familiar. I told the man I think is the female I wanted to buy out of that dispersal. A few weeks later he called me to ask if I wanted to partner on a flush. I told him I’d do all the work for free if we flushed her to Utah. She made 11. He put in 6 and got 5 pregnancies. I froze my 5 and ended up with 2 heifers out of the deal. Talk about fate
