Once each year Ahimsa Rescue Foundation reaches out with a fundraiser to help rescued animals, and to help people with getting their pets spayed and neutered.

Ahimsa Rescue Foundation is a private foundation that is run by volunteers and donations.

It’s that time of year again and Ahimsa Rescue Foundation needs your help.

Ahimsa Rescue Foundation is pleased to announce our annual fundraiser to help homeless pets and reduce pet overpopulation.

Ahimsa Rescue’s mission is to place needy animals in responsible homes, provide humane education, encourage and facilitate spaying and neutering because there are not enough homes.

Ahimsa is also proud to be approaching its 10th year of hosting an onsite low cost spay/neuter clinic. Spaying and neutering pets is the first step to helping animals and the solution to pet overpopulation. We are in an area with an overwhelming need for these services. For low and moderate income rural homes, spaying and neutering pets is generally out of reach. This places animals at risk for unnecessary suffering from multiple litters and eventual abandonment. Our modest fees make it possible for owners to spay/neuter their pets.

Ahimsa’s goal is to reduce pet overpopulation and help end the needless suffering and death that homeless animals endure

A Delightful dog named Dixie is available for adoption at Ahimsa Rescue Foundation in Muldrow, OK

Dixie has a great temperament. She is good around children, and she is also good around cats. Dixie plays well with other dogs. She is loving and affectionate.

Ahimsa Rescue Foundation’s adoption donation varies between $200 and $250 for each pet. Ahimsa Rescue Foundation invests on average $200 per dog on medical, microchip and incidental care.
