Back in 1913 it was hard to say how many dairy farms and other farms were in Waukesha county but we do know that there were more pure bred dairy cows per square mile than in any other county in the United States! In 1951 there were 1,627 dairy farms in Waukesha County. By 1970, the number of dairy farms had shrunk to 414, and in 1990, the number diminished to only 154 dairy farms.
No matter how many active farms are left we at Horn feeds are here for your every need. No matter if you're a big time farmer or a residential homeowner we have mostly everything you could need! For 146 years our establishment has been serving the community. Although we have not owned it the entire time we still have six generations of feed dust in our veins. Stop by and check out what we have to offer! From bulk feed to bagged, fertilizer and pesticides. And tons more! We also have our sister company Horn oil in house.
