Selkirk Kennels is a dog boarding facility, located in Moyie Springs. We strive to make your pets stay with us as comfortable as possible as well as giving the client peace of mind that they are leaving their loving pet in good hands. We also offer full grooming to the pets that are boarded here with us, so they go home smelling and looking great when you pick them up. Prices for boarding are $25

a day for an individual dog and $14 a day for individual cat. there is a price break if you have more than one animal boarding. Feel free to call or visit our website for full pricing info.

So we have finally started our scent work that we have been talking about.
I got to do some work with sully while she stayed and it went well.
Now please understand we are at beginning stages with her so we are starting with the boxes that don't look like a big deal and the treats are easy to find.
But we progress into harder things as we go through this process with them. We will have themed rooms sometimes.
Like 4th of July or christmas. Sometimes we will keep it basic with the boxes. We will also have ball pits and snuffle mats for them to work their noses.

After this 10min. Session sully was relaxed and took a good nap. Which is the goal. To have a content quiet pup even in a boarding kennel scenario:) this is just one of the things that can be added on to your dogs stay with us and will be incorporated into day care every day:) we are so excited to add this to what we already do with your pups when they stay with us :) stay tuned for more videos!😊🐾😊

At the kennels we’re usually all about dogs and cats 🐾 - but sometimes life reminds us that some things are bigger than what we do everyday.
Through out the coming weeks we are supporting cancer awareness and honoring those in our community who are facing cancer battles. Cancer touches so many lives including our own and this cause is especially close to our hearts, as it has touched members of our kennel family, and some of our valued clients.
To help spread awareness and show our support we are giving away bracelets for leukemia and breast cancer awareness, so please stop by and get a bracelet.
We also want to recognize the strength, courage, and resilience of those fighting cancer, those who have survived and the families and caregivers who stand beside them everyday.
Please join us in raising awareness, sharing hope and supporting those affected by cancer. Together we can remind people that they are not alone in their journey.❤️

Did you know that part of the money goes to second chance animal shelter?
For every cookie or antler sold over half goes to the shelter. So for example if you buy a big $3 cookie $2 goes to the shelter. Your pups get a treat and you get to help shelter animals it's a win win:) wether you come in and purchase to take home or purchase some for your pups stay we and the shelter would be grateful for your donation😊🐾💜

PET OF THE MONTH TIME!!! This is mr. Marley🐾 he's been with us for quite some time now. He gets to go home today. Yay! He started out coming for day care so he wouldn't stress coming to stay with us for his long stay. And on the whole it helped he has made himself right at home has made many friends while he has been here and he is just the biggest love bug💜🐾 we are so glad he got to stay with us. Apologies! We haven't been on here in a minute. It was a very busy month of May. Whew! Now we are in June and feel the time is going by faster than we want it to.

We want all of you to know that we are booked for the rest of the month For day care and boarding. July is filling up so call soon☎️

REMINDER!!! Our monthly deep clean is on the 17th so there will be no day care that day. We apologize for any inconvenience but this monthly floor to ceiling cleaning is necessary to the health and well being of all the animals that stay with us 🐾💜
HOURS! We have changed the morning hours mon-fri from 8:30 to noon to 8:00 to 11:00. We are working on getting all of that changed on the web site and pages. The message on our phone will be changed when I don't have a head cold. Lol just wanted to give everyone a heads up😊

Letting everyone know that the pups and all of us made through the night. No damage just no power. We have the generator up and running and all is running as usual so 8f you still want to come for day care today feel free:) we'll be outside mostly anyway:) also the phone is down so call 208-610-4404 if you have any questions or concerns:)

We have been having so much fun in the sun with all these guys. It’s been a busy couple of weeks and just a reminder that we are full every weekend till after the 4th of July. We do have a couple spots open still during the week for over nights and day care. We would also like to welcome all the new pups that have come to stay with us. Thank you everyone for sharing your lovely pets with us. We hope everyone has a great Friday and a great weekend.
