The horses here receive quality care at NARS because of our hardworking staff and volunteers. With so many people in and out of the barn we have eyes on everyone and make sure the horses get the care they deserve. Questions about boarding, lessons, or volunteering with us? Meet our barn cat named Kitty 🐱 Kitty has been around since Susan founded NARS in 2006. He not only has an important job of keeping the mice away, he also keeps the staff company while they clean stalls. You can often find him following them around in the summer looking for attention. His favorite sleep spot is also in the hay barn. Next time you see Kitty, give him some love. He deserves it πŸ’•

Meet our barn manager, Sophia! Sophia has been with us for about a year now. Born in New Jersey but grew up in Kentucky, she has always loved animals and learned to care for horses working at different barns in exchange for lessons. We actually offer that opportunity at NARS as well. If you are interested in a work for lessons exchange please email Sophia at [email protected] and she can answer all your questions.
