Here at the ranch New Mexico Stock dog association will be holding several trials this year.
In March and April of 2026 MSSA arena sheep trials on Saturday and Sunday 2 trials per day for all classes.

25+ years ago we started raising registered Dorpers sheep for meat production, and herding dog training and trialing. We are switching to Registered Saint Croix sheep. Saint Croix are a heritage sheep breed. They are also a hair sheep raised for meat production as well as serving as sheep for herding dog training or trialing. So begins a new era for Free To Be Ranch.
