Update: Jazzy has been adopted 🎉

This dog, named "Apollo" was found in the 500 block of W 1st St. We have tried calling his owner but haven't made contact yet.

This dog was found in the intersection of S 95 and Wheeler Arch Rd.

This guy is someone's hunting dog, he still has the number 480 or 489 painted on his side.

Note: The dog is not wearing a tracking collar nor does he have owner information on his collar as required by state law, therefore this dog is considered a stray running at large which is not permitted inside city limits.

A female seal point cat (looked to be spayed) was found deceased in the 300 block of W 1st St. She had a white spot on her stomach, and had a prominent premordial pouch.

Update: This girl is within just a couple days of whelping. For this reason, she is being transferred to Animal Angels Network, where she will complete her stray hold and have her puppies. If this is your dog, please contact the rescue directly.

Found at the YMCA. She looks like she's expecting pups soon, and we would love to get her back home asap.

A large orange intact male cat was found severely injured in the 300 block of E South St. Unfortunately, this cat had to be humanely euthanized to prevent further suffering.

Meet Jazzy, a sweet and reserved girl who is ready for her forever family.

Jazzy is a mixed breed, and is a large size dog. She's between 6-7 months old, has done very well with other dogs, raised with a 7 year old child with no issues, and showed little interest when introduced to the shelter cat.

Jazzy came from a home that had between 15-20 other dogs. She was well cared for, but due to the amount of animals she lived with, she had very little one-on-one time with humans. For this reason, she very much uses other dogs as her confidence, and can be a little shy when she first meets someone new, but she quickly warms up into a happy friendly big goof. Jazzy is started on leash training and potty training, but she's not perfect yet.

We think Jazzy would do best living in a home with another big dog that can help teach her how to be a perfect member of the household.

Jazzy is dewormed, current on vaccines, treated for fleas and will go to her new home microchipped and with a voucher for a free nutritional package from Urban Dogg. She will need to be spayed within 30 days.

Her ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED!
