Our growing practice is looking for a Veterinary Assistant !!
Our Ideal Candidate:

An individual who is passionate about animal care, highly motivated, and pays attention to detail. A Veterinary Technician/assistant is the heartbeat of our team and work side by side with the Dr (DVM) during procedures.
Job Duties:

Assisting DVMs during procedures by restraining animals, conducting tests, monitoring vitals, and administering medications.
Maintaining medical records and communicating with clients on their pets' medical procedures, including next steps.
Maintaining treatment room and all the clinic environment spotless clean!, maintenance of equipment such as anesthetic machines/ monitors, x-ray machines, dental, and autoclaving equipment.
Must be comfortable and confident handling large dogs.
Job Requirements:

Previous veterinary experience is preferred. but we will train the right candidate if willing to work your way from the bottom up.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squatting, reach, standing, carrying equipment for housecalls and walking throughout the day.

We are focusing on general medicine for cats and dogs. Our goal is to meet or exceed our large clientele’s expectations of a small animal practice.
