We are $2,000 short of being able to pay Raggs and Sassy's bill in full. We appreciate every single dollar you are able to give towards these life changing surgeries. Raggs, the tan mix, dotes on Sassy after surgery. They are an inseparable pair. Raggs surgery was unlike any other Dr Amanda had ever seen in her thirteen plus years of veterinary medicine. His tumor actually originated around undescended testicles up in the belly wall. Dr Amanda was able to successfully remove both testicles and the attached tumor. Raggs also received a dental which involved gentle plucking of the teeth and every single one was loose and popped out. So, Raggs will be coming home with "nothing." 😉
Sassy's surgery was also one for the medical books! Her mass was a hernia full of intestines that was wrapped around her uterus and fat. Can you imagine? Her temperature dropped a bit during surgery so her dental could not be done, but will be Tuesday. These two have been through so much together and are now healing together. ❤️
Raggs and Sassy are two more reminders of why spay neuter is so important!
