We desperately need to find adopters for the dogs currently in the shelter. Over the next couple weeks, I will be listing all available cats and dogs to the shelters Petfinder. I will be pinning this post so that anyone looking to adopt has a link straight to our Petfinder profile and will see everything available. So thankful to have such a wonderful groomer who donates her services and team to give back to the community! These dogs get love and top notch care when these girls come! Pampered H Grooming Salon Thank you for giving these dogs the experience they need to make wonderful pets and make their time at the shelter a lot more clean. There have been posts about this sweet girl and calls coming in often about a German Shepard roaming near Parkdale. Monday I set out the trap and watched for her with no luck. Today she sniffed my trap but didnt go in. Tonight I got a message about a missing dog and we confirmed right away it was her!!! Mila ! Her owner lives an hour away and searched up the shelter to see if she had been brought in. She was being watched by a friend here locally and escaped his care. He left right away hoping he could call her to him tonight. I had checked the trap at around 8:45 and she was not in it. I went to meet him there at 10:30 and when I arrived Mila was in the trap!!!! The scared elusive dog switched immediately into the most loving excited happy to see her dad behavior and even gave me a warm slobbery thank you and accepted my presence. She is home!!!!! Thank you to everyone that kept me informed of her whereabouts.

Due to a family emergency I will not be at the shelter this week. If you have an appointment with me please call to reschedule. Intakes will be closed during this time with the exception of emergencies. If you need help and it is a true emergency please call 911. All other calls at this time to the shelter will be returned based upon the reason and urgency so please leave a message . I will get someone out to you if the need is urgent.
