✂️ Celebrating a new resource in our community! 💙

It was such a pleasure to attend the ribbon-cutting for Decatur Counseling Center and celebrate my buddy Sampson and his mom, Pam! 🐾

Pam and Sampson are now accepting new patients, and what a wonderful resource they are for our community. They also have an amazing staff who are ready to support, encourage, and care for those they serve. Mental health support, a welcoming environment, and a sweet four-legged friend by your side—what a special combination!

I feel incredibly blessed to call Pam and Sampson friends and to serve alongside them in our community. It’s always exciting to see good people doing meaningful work and making a difference in the lives of others.

It’s been a busy week and it’s only Thursday! I started the week at Meridian Elementary that is displaced b/c of the tornado & welcomed students and staff to the new building with a few of my friends. I got a haircut & now I’m fresh and clean! And ended with joining mom’s CEO class for their first day of the year! Have a great school year everyone!

Today I got to do one of my very favorite jobs—visiting friends at the hospital. 🐾🤍

I may not be a doctor or a nurse, but I have my own kind of medicine: a wagging tail, a soft head to pet, and lots and lots of love. 🐶

Hospital days can be long and sometimes a little scary, so I’m happy to bring a smile, offer a distraction, or just sit quietly beside someone who needs a friend.

I don’t know their stories or what kind of day they’re having, but I do know this: joy matters. Kindness matters. And sometimes four paws can make a hard day feel just a little bit lighter. 💙

Pretty sure I have the best job in the world.

This week, my summer adventures took us to Cedar Falls, Iowa. I got to spend the week with my uncle-brother-cousin or something like that. I got to see the Clydesdales and meet Budd 🐾 and Rocky 🐾 who are part of the Clydesdale hitch team. We really wanted to play but mom and the boys handlers wouldn’t let us, Always and adventure!
