Breeding season is in full swing and we are looking to add some seasonal team members. Now accepting resumes for weekday, weekend and after school positions.

Big shout out to our amazing staff for showing up and taking the absolute best care of the horses in the worst of weather. From snow and ice to windchill of -32. We couldn't run this barn without these people.

I finally have my wits about me after the day we had yesterday. Putting up 1730 bales - 13 hay racks- bales weighing on average 40 lbs each, I'm humbled by the group of people who came to help. It isn't their job in many cases this isn't even their hobby. We had a few equipment failures no one complained. Everyone stuck it out for 9 hours. Thank goodness for those of you under 50 who could carry the extra load for the 6-7 of us over 60 and 70. I truly don't have enough words to thank you.

Thank you to all the boarders, family and friends that stuck around all day to put up 1730 bales of beautiful hay. We are blessed to be surrounded by such great people and to have a barn almost full of such great hay.

June 24th Ride A Test with S Judge Anne Cizaldo

We are proud to announce our Annual Ride-A-Test on June 24 at Northern Lights Farm (1660 O'Connor Rd, Mt Vernon, IA 52314)!

If you are interested in riding in this clinic, please use the button below to apply to ride. Spaces are limited and we want to prioritize members.

Each rider will be given 30 minutes for their ride. You will come in and ride your test of choice, receive feedback from Anne (an S Level judge), and have the opportunity to either do exercises or school the test again with the clinician

The fees for the clinic are as follows:
Members: $100 per ride
Non Members: $120 per ride

Payments will be due 2 weeks prior to the clinic when riders are selected. Ride times will be posted 1 week prior to the event.

Auditing will be available so mark your calendars!
