Bittersweet news — Barkies is officially closing as I start an exciting new chapter. I bought an ice cream food truck 🎉🍦, so I’ll be shifting my focus in a new direction.

Thank you for all the support — I’ve loved baking for your pups and meeting so many of you. Here’s to new adventures (and scoops!) ahead ❤️🍨

This was a Iabor of Iove building this trailer from the ground up and such an accomplishment to see It be so successful.

But all sweet things must come to an end, as we have made the decision to turn this amazing trailer over to a new owner.

Give a warm welcome to Callie Royster as the new owner of Simply Scooped.

She will keep the same amazing options you have come to love and she is local to the area to continue with all the local festivals 🍨🍨🍨

Excited to be back and have our first market tomorrow! Come and get your pup some treats!

The Farmers Market starts it's 5th year of bringing fabulous local produce, baked goods, crafts, and more to Downtown Salem TOMORROW MORNING! The back lot at 217 West Main will be full, so bring a shopping bag or two to carry home all the goodies you'll find!

**IMPORTANT REMINDER!** The lot opens for customers at 9:00 a.m. DO NOT come earlier than that so all our vendors can get their booths set up and ready to serve you!

Check out our vendor list for this Saturday's Backyard Homesteading Expo! Everyone who's joining us has a "particular set of skills" to share with you! Baking, woodworking, canning, sewing, soap-making...so much talent will be on the lot at 1307 West Main in Salem! Plan to make a full day of it, and grab breakfast and lunch from our food trucks to enjoy while you take a few free homesteading classes! We'll be open from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., and OVERFLOW PARKING will be available at the 1st Baptist Church, just two blocks east of the Expo (free shuttle rides will be provided). See you Saturday!
