Oddly enough, after 15 years of shoeing, I shod my first pony ever today. I'm surprised at how it wasn't as bad a situation as I thought it might be.

Heading off to Ellensburg for the FAWS annual convention. It will be nice to see some old friends as well as meet new ones. And if i keep my mind open I may learn a few tricks to bring home. Continuing Education does not cheap, but the rewards are definatly worth it.

Yesterday was absolutely one of the quietest days (as far as horses being cooperative) I consider it a rare jewel when this happens and wish I could actually predict when this would occur. Thanks to all the wonderful ponies yesterday and hoping for a day today that is even half as nice as yesterday.
