We had a blast hosting Trinity Oaks - A Senior Living Community at the farm! Blessed with a beautiful day, our guests had the opportunity to meet the herd and learn about equine assisted learning, therapeutic horsemanship, and “speaking” the language of horses. We visited the “mini-pen” where they met the goats, Reggie the mini horse, Charlie the cow, and Opal the llama. They were also treated to horsemanship and riding demonstrations featuring our lovely Friesian mare Scarlett and trainer Stacey Carter, who explained how horses can respond to subtle and nearly imperceptible shifts in the rider’s position and energy.
Horses and humans all had a wonderful time, we look forward to having this lively group back again!!

As a teacher of both Yoga and Debono Moves for Horses, I love supporting people in learning how presence, feel, touch, and gentle movement can improve softness in both you and your horse, enhancing whatever adventures you pursue together.

We will be covering Mindful Movement for Riders, Debono Moves for Horses, nervous system co-regulation, and “speaking" the horse's language at our upcoming Mindful Horsemanship Clinic at LaBelle Equestrian on October 25!
