Milo and Macerick stayed with us in November. Maverick (Chiweenie) is a bad ass amazing guy- all 10 lbs of him. He is so sweet and confident and literally always ready to snuggle. Milo (puppy) is the sweetest nut job/ kangaroo/ dog and so much fun! 🐾

We had such a fun week with Miss Riley! She has left paw prints on our hearts and we were sad to see her go home. Until next time… little lady 🐾

Something to consider

Does your dog have itchy skin? Recurrent hot spots or gunky ears? Does she lick and chew at her feet? Not all skin issues are caused by allergies and in many cases, the cause of your dog's itchy skin can be found in her gut.

Hard to believe we are well into September- August went by in a blink- here’s what we have been up to:

Harley and Max returned for another sleepover- both are so much fun. Harley is a full-size labradoodle and is big goofball who thinks he’s a lapdog- he loves to run and submerge his legs in the pool if he isn’t stealing a blanket or towel and bringing it outside.

Max is a small- medium golden doodle and is such a good boy. He blends perfectly with Stella and Saxon so much so that he literally slept with in our bed. He also loves to play but he’s our swimmer- jumps right in the pool and swims like a fish for as long as you’ll let him.

Bryn is a pointer/ greyhound mix and as sweet and ladylike as they come. She bonded with my husband and was his literal shadow unless she was running after a ball.

Millie is a pit bull and we called her the tank because she was little but built like a brick house. She is extremely gentle but is not good at picking up social cues from the other dogs so we had to keep her by our side which she was more than happy to oblige.

Riley is a beagle and tiny- maybe 12 pounds. Her owners were getting married and I was hoping they would forget we had her. She and Stella were the best of friends and glued at the hip. In true beagle fashion- she loves to eat and is quite passionate about it. She had no reservations pushing Saxon out of the way for a snack even though he outweighs her by 120 lbs. He didn’t mind.

Beshotten, a German Shorthaired Pointer was back this last weekend. He’s a favorite because he’s so peculiar. He is focused and athletic- so unlike my 2- and can seem standoffish but he is the most loving and obedient guy. His owner warned that he may pull on walks but he was great and we paired him with Stella who can match his energy.
