A BIG Happy Birthday to our favorite taxidermist! Andrew celebrated his birthday today by skipping town and going fishing for the day.

While fishing his phone went for a little dip too in his wader pocket. So not sure when his replacement will be in so in the meantime you can either call/text me, Baily, 903-466-4028 or shoot a message on here and I will make sure he sees it.

We’re at the Texas Taxidermy Association Convention and Competition again this year. Getting lots of information and tips on how to better improve mounts for the future. The taxidermy world is ever evolving and always helps to get tips on how to better improve mounts to be the best taxidermist I can be!

We are rolling on the skulls. Unfortunately this weather puts a pause on it since whitening does need to be done outdoors. If you are one of the customers that has not received a text yet thank you for your patience. Once this weather warms up a little I plan on getting the remaining skulls knocked out asap. Until then keep as warm as you can.

Well had a first just go home. Bull horn mount. Not normally anything too out of the ordinary, but these were cut off the skull at the base of each horn. Turned out really nice and had a very happy customer.

Finally caught a break in the weather to get some more skulls whitened. This time of year these nice days a too few and far between.

Well this one deserves its own spotlight. This is truthfully the first deer I’ve ever done that I was hoping the hunter didn’t pick up. Easily the biggest 8 I’ve ever seen much less mounted, and a free range east Texas piney woods deer on top of it. Thank you Jason Baker for your business. I don’t know how you’re gonna top this one.
