🙀🚨Adopters and foster families for cats urgently needed! 🚨🙀
Last Friday alone, 121 cats arrived across our shelters in need of care, including 47 from a single home. With our lodging space far beyond capacity, many spent the night in crates inside the conference room at our Milwaukee Campus.
WHS will never turn away an animal in need, and we do not euthanize animals for reasons of time or space, which is why we rely so heavily on the kindness and generosity of the communities we serve.
Here are the ways you can help:
🏡 ADOPT - You can name your own adoption fee for all cats 1 year and up, and we offer buddy pricing on our kittens, so if you adopt two at once, you get half off the second kitten's adoption fee!
🩷 FOSTER - If you can't adopt at the moment, sign up to become a foster parent and welcome some feline friends into your home temporarily! Get started at wihumane.org/foster/apply 👈

DW was brought to us as a stray in heartbreaking condition. Her prominent ribs, hip bones, and spine showed she was malnourished, dehydrated, and had struggled for some time. On top of everything else, DW had multiple pressure sores, exposed scabs, and an infected wound on her hip. After weeks of supportive care and regular veterinary visits, her once tucked tail was now a wagging testament to her outgoing and joyful personality.

If your vehicle is at the end of its life or if you’re ready to upgrade, we would love for you to consider our vehicle donation program. It’s not just for cars – this program also takes snowmobiles, jet skis, trailers, boats, RVs, motorcycles, off-road vehicles, heavy equipment, and most other motorized vehicles. It doesn’t even have to run to be accepted!
