Piper & I can now participate in NACSW trials!! She passed all 3 odors today. I’m thankful we could still play today when she was in season. She was the master of multi tasking, she enjoyed smelling all the dogs before her YET still stopped to smile up at me to say “odor is right here”. We had a fun day together!

Come join us on June 5th to walk with your (well-behaved) dog!!! It's a little late this year but still before the June 30th deadline. The route is a combination of mowed & paved trails.

It was make dog toys weekend. The rabbit fur woven into the tug toy was a huge hit. I know they like the bone shaped water bottle toys too. Any new ideas for dog toys I could make??? 🐕

Rontu enjoys training too! He just needed a little review on staying at source. What he likes the most is the treats that come with training. 😍

Beef lung is incredible for dogs! The #1 reason I added it to my line of treats is b/c I wanted to give it to my dogs. It’s rich in protein, low in fat, easily digested, great for muscle growth & repairs. Plus the freeze dried version is softer & can be broken into small pieces! 😮 🐕 Lesser known fact: the cartilage in beef lung is packed full of glucosamine & chondroitin.

Thanks to Tori & her volunteers for a great training event this morning! It’s always fascinating to see how odor moves in different facilities. Piper did well with her search focus AND no paws on the boxes!!!!!!

This is what Piper & I have been working on…….searching containers! It hasn’t been easy, she loved to walk all over the boxes, lite into the “hot” box and her arousal was over the top. She’s taught me a lot and one specific area is about communicating my criteria to her. Now, back to training!
