This mama had cancer eye in her left eye (a common condition in Hereford cattle). 👁️

Cancer eye, also called ocular squamous cell carcinoma, often appears as a growth on the eyelid or eye surface. It is especially common in cattle with white faces because they have less pigment to protect against UV damage. ☀️

Treatment often involves surgical removal of the affected tissue or eye to prevent spread and improve comfort!

Dr. Fitzgerald got to work, and now this mama is back with her baby and feeling much better 💛🐮

Early detection makes a big difference! If you notice:
• cloudy spots
• raised pink growths
• tearing
• squinting
• changes to the eyelid
… it’s time to call your vet. ☎️

This big guy came in a couple days ago! 🦬

Buffalo are amazing and powerful creatures! It was fun to see one up close and be able to treat it for pink eye 👁️

This pup didn’t just destroy it’s toys —
he ate the squeakers 😳

Those little plastic squeakers can cause serious intestinal blockages. In this case, it resulted in an exploratory surgery to find and remove them.

🦴 Toy safety tip:
If your dog is a “power chewer” or a squeaker hunter, supervise play and discard toys once the squeaker is exposed. 🫶🏼
