The mission of One Love Animal Rescue is to rescue homeless animals, nurture them through foster care, and place them in permanent loving homes. We don't discrimate by breed, size, age or medical condition. One Love Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit animal rescue based in Southern New Jersey that is supported by a network of foster homes. All funds raised go directly toward supporting

our rescue mission. One Love promotes responsible pet ownership and encourages others in our community to be kind to all animals, to reduce pet overpopulation, and join us in our mission to improve the outcomes of homeless animals. One Love relies on donations from our supporters for our dogs and cats with special medical needs, in addition to covering general medical expenses for all dogs and cats in our care. We ensure that every one of our animals receives the necessary vetting (basic and beyond) from licensed veterinarians, plus any specialized medical care they need, regardless of cost. Funds raised in excess of the medical costs for a specific animal will be applied to our general medical fund.

Our boy Bo has hit the jackpot. This sweet hound mix has been hanging around waiting for someone to match with him perfectly and it has happened. Bo’s new dad Rick absolutely adores him. We couldn’t be happier for this pair and can’t wait to see how their relationship blossoms.

Thank you to Jackie and Billy Denton for being Bo’s advocate and his foster mom Rachel for making room in her home and heart to save Bo❤️

Sugar is safe. Sugar is an owner surrender. She is all about the love, pets and wanting to sit on your lap. Sugar is just a baby at 9 months old and 18 pounds. Melanie is safe! Melanie was a stray that no one claimed. Melanie is about 6 years old and 17 pounds. She has had puppies at some point. She is house and crate trained and very happy going on walks around the neighborhood. She will not only steal your heart but also your garden gloves. Melanie will need to see the Vet and be spayed, then be available for adoption. Thank you to Betty Wilson, Cliff Bethke and his team for getting Melanie on the road to a new life.

Meet Joy, a 5-month-old black Lab mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of happiness. This sweet girl is currently recovering from a skin infection and doing wonderfully, showing everyone just how resilient and loving she truly is.

Joy absolutely loves other dogs, especially the big ones, and you can usually find her happily romping around with her canine friends. She’s social, playful, and always ready for fun—whether it’s chasing toys, running in the yard, or making new buddies. Her cheerful energy is contagious and guaranteed to bring smiles wherever she goes.
She’s also fantastic with kids and has a gentle, affectionate side that makes her just as happy snuggling up as she is playing outside. Joy thrives on companionship and would do best in a home with another friendly dog or an active family who will include her in all of life’s adventures.

Meet Ernie, a gentle Shepherd mix with the sweetest soul and a heart full of love. While he may be a little shy at first, Ernie truly shines when he’s surrounded by his animal friends.
Ernie absolutely adores other dogs and even cats—he would be happiest in a home with furry companions (the more, the merrier!).
Ernie is both house-trained and crate-trained, and he’s making great progress learning to enjoy walks. Having come to One Love Animal Rescue Group Inc. from a very rural area in Tennessee, urban life is still new to him. Noises like traffic and other sudden sounds can be a bit overwhelming, but with patience, love, and the support of a confident canine buddy, Ernie continues to grow braver every day.
Ernie is looking for a committed family who understands that building confidence takes time. In return, you’ll be rewarded with an incredibly loyal, loving companion who will blossom right before your eyes.
